Background on Project
China Huaneng is currently planning to build a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 100 MW in Liaoning Province. The plant is scheduled to be completed in 2016.[1][2]
The project was permitted in January 2014,[3] and began construction in October 2014.[4]
Unit 1 was commissioned on March 6, 2017.[5] Unit 2 was commissioned on March 27, 2017.[6]
