Background on Project
China Huaneng has proposed a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 400 MW in Hubei Province.[1][2] The power station was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission for construction in 2014.[3]
Unit 1 began operating in 2014,[4] and unit 2 in 2015.[5][6]
