Huaneng Yushe power station (华能榆社发电公司) is a 600-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Shanxi Province, China.

Background on Plant

As shown by comparing Google satellite to Bing satellite views on Wikimapia, Units 1 and 2 the Huaneng Yushe power station, built in 1994-1995, have been demolished. They were retired in 2012. Units 3 and 4 are 300 MW each and were brought online in 2004. The plant is majority-owned by China Huaneng. [1][2]

Expansion

Huaneng was planning to build two additional coal-fired units at this plant, with a total planned capacity of 1,200 MW.[3][4]
