The Hutton Inquiry is a public inquiry conducted by Lord Hutton, a senior judge in the United Kingdom, into the death of David Kelly, a government biological weapons expert who committed suicide after his name was leaked to the press as the source for claims that the September Dossier used to justify the War on Iraq was 'sexed up'.
Its terms of reference are to "...urgently to conduct an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Dr Kelly."
It called many witnesses, including Tony Blair, Andrew Gilligan, Alistair Campbell, Geoff Hoon, Ann Taylor, Gavn Davies, etc. The Inquiry published its report in January 2004.
