InterNorth

Formed in 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska, as holding company for Northern Natural Gas Company, a natural gas utility founded in 1930. Following 1985 takeover of Houston Natural Gas Company, InterNorth Inc. became Enron Corporation. (See also Enron)
