The International Peace Foundation "has hosted the event series "Bridges - Dialogues Towards a Culture of Peace" from November 2003 till April 2005 in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Chonburi, Kanchanaburi, Khon Kaen, Nakorn Ratchasima, and Songkla, Thailand.
- "In this series of more than 200 lectures and dialogues, seminars, workshops and artistic performances 28 Nobel Laureates as well as decision makers in international politics, economy, science, culture and the media have joined hands with Thai leaders in all parts of society to establish creative conflict resolution programs for the growing threats of war and international terrorism."
