"The ISEE was founded in 1989. Its presidents have been Bob Costanza, Dick Norgaard, John Proops, Charles Perrings, and now, Joan Martinez-Alier (for 2006 and 2007). The president-elect for 2008-09 is Peter May. Other members of the Board are Joan Roughgarden, Wendy Proctor, John Gowdy, Luciana Togeiro and Pushpam Kumar." [1]
