Philip Morris (PM) patronizes many groups in order to curry favor and create a good impression of its corporate self. This document shows the activities of PM's media relations department in 1991. It seems routine enough; it shows PM's Media Relations Department hard at work scheduling brunches for members of the media, arranging to host a dinner for the National Newspaper Association, pitching stories to the media about PM's involvement in a Summer Jobs for Youth program ... and arranging to host an international clown symposium!
