Jack C. Parnell is a former Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Carreer
- 1983–1984 Deputy Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture
- 1984–1987 Director of the California Department of Fish and Game
- 1987–1989 Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture
- 1989–1991 Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture
In 1994 he became a Public Member of the California Air Resources Board. In that same year Parnell was the chairman of the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution's (ADTI) Focus on Agricultural Regulation and Markets.
