Jacqueline H. Wilson

Jacqueline H. Wilson "is a senior program officer in USIP's [United States Institute of Peace] Professional Training program. She joined USIP with over twenty years of service in the U.S. military and continues to serve in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. She holds the rank of lieutenant colonel and is the reserve air attaché to Egypt. Her military career has included assignments in analysis, training, and counterterrorism. She served overseas in the Middle East and Africa, and is a Middle East foreign area officer.

"Following the events of September 11, 2001, she was assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi serving in the Defense Attaché and Kenya/U.S. Liaison Offices. During this period she was a member of the U.S. delegation to the Intergovernmental Authority on Development-hosted Sudanese peace talks, contributing to the development of the Verification and Monitoring Team. She was also an international observer for the Kenyan elections of 2002. Wilson has worked as a special assistant on the Maryland governor's staff as well as a lobbyist at the state level. She was an adjunct instructor for Chapman University and a faculty member of the Joint Military Intelligence Training Center at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
