James Moffat, BSc PhD FOR, is a Fellow of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), a Fellow of the Operational Research Society and visiting Professor to the University of Cranfield. "He has spent over 20 years in defence-related operational research, advising the UK Ministry of Defence on the best balance of investment for defence equipment. He has also led research on stealth technology and sensors. His current research interests are in the improved modelling of C2 in the next generation of models of conflict." [1]
