Biographical Information
"Mr. Russell is an expert in carbon and carbon finance. He was a Senior Director at the Clinton Climate Initiative, the climate change program of President William J. Clinton's foundation, focusing upon commercially-viable transactions improving economics around investment in GHG reduction activities. Prior to this he was a member of the original investment team of Climate Change Capital's Carbon Fund, the first private equity fund created to invest in carbon credits, where he originated, negotiated and / or managed fund investments in China and Eastern Europe, focusing on methane, wind energy, HFC-23 and NO2 assets. Mr Russell started his career at McKinsey & Co., has an A.B. with honours from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford Business School." [1]
