Jean-Raymond Boulle
Jean-Raymond Boulle is the cofounder of Sierra Rutile.
Writing in 1997 Pratap Chatterjee notes that: "Mauritian-born diamond buyer, Jean-Raymond Boulle... was working for De Beers, the South African multinational in Sierra Leone and the Congo at the end of the 1960s. The Congo, which had just been renamed Zaire (and had since taken the name the Democratic Republic of Congo), was being run by the iron hand of Mobutu Sese Seko. The US-backed dictator had taken over the country in 1965, after a bitter war fought by South African mercenaries recruited and paid for by the CIA." (see full article for further details) [1] (more info)
"A British citizen, Monaco-based Boulle made £300m from the sale of Diamond Field Resources, which he co-founded. The former De Beers buyer has interests in other mining ventures and a £30m property in Dallas." [2]
