Jeff Blumberg
"Born in Johannesburg and raised in South Africa and then Canada, Jeff developed a love of wildlife and appreciation of the importance of conservation at a young age; growing up involved many trips to Kruger National Park and other game reserves in southern Africa.
"After graduating from Harvard University, Jeff began a successful 18-year-long career in financial services. He spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management – first in New York, then Princeton and finally London. Today, he is CEO of Egerton Capital (UK), an asset management firm with headquarters in London.
"In addition to wildlife conservation, his interests include photography and squash, a sport in which, as a junior, he represented both Canada and the United States in international competitions. Jeff lives in London with his wife Claudia and their three children.
"In addition to his role as trustee of RCB Botswana, Jeff is a trustee of Rhino Conservation Botswana (UK) Trust, registered charity number 1167450, in the UK, and a Director of Fondation Segré in Switzerland."[1]
