Background on Project

Jiagedaqi Cogen power station is a proposed 3 x 80 MW heat and power plant in Jiagedaqi Prefecture. Units 1-2 were permitted for construction in May 2014. They were planned for completion in 2017,[1][2] however construction did not begin until 2018.

Planet satellite imagery shows construction progress on units 1-2 from May to October 2018.

With no developments since 2015, unit 3 appears to be abandoned.
