Jiaozuo Bo'ai power station (华润焦作龙源电厂上大压小新建项目) is a 1,320-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Henan Province, China.

Background on Plant

The two existing coal-fired units of Jiaozuo Boai power station, totaling 270 MW (2 x 135 MW), were brought online in 2005. The plant is owned by China Resources. It is also referred to as the Wanfang-2 power station.

The units were retired in 2015, after the new units 3-4 came online.

Expansion

China Resources planned two additional coal-fired units at this plant, units 3 and 4, with a total capacity of 1,320 MW. Construction of the plants began in 2013. Unit 3 was completed in 2014, and unit 4 in 2015.
