Background on Project
Beijing Coal Group has proposed a 2 x 350 MW coal plant in Anyang, a prefecture-level city in Henan province.[1][2]
The project was permitted by the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission in December 2016.[3]
It is planned to begin construction in July 2018 and the two units will be put into operation in 2020. This project will serve as the main source of central heating for Huaxian County and Jingxian County.[4]
Construction was reported in November 2018.[5]
