Background on Project

Beijing Energy Group is constructing a 2 x 350 MW supercritical coal plant in the city of Jining. It started construction before it received environmental approval, therefore, the provincial environmental authority ordered the halt of the construction. It was permitted in 2015, and completed in 2016.
