Background on Project
Beijing Energy Group is constructing a 2 x 350 MW supercritical coal plant in the city of Jining. It started construction before it received environmental approval, therefore, the provincial environmental authority ordered the halt of the construction.[1] It was permitted in 2015,[2][3] and completed in 2016.[4]
