Background on Project

In April 2015 the Hebei Development Commission approved a request by Jingneng Power to begin preparatory work on a 700 MW cogeneration coal plant for the city of Qinhuangdao.[1]

The project was permitted in December 2016.[2] It is started construction in the end of 2017.[3][4]
