Biographical Information

"Educated at Oxford, John subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant and he then spent some years as a financial analyst and a consultant with the Economist Intelligence Unit. He has spent 20 years in the venture capital and private equity industry and was latterly the Deputy Managing Director of Cinven. John left Cinven in 2001 to spend time working in the voluntary sector and since then he has been either the treasurer or trustee of a range of organisations including Trekforce, Box Clever Theatre Company, Evelyn Oldfield Unit, London Detainee Support Group, First Rung, and Islington Boat Club."
