John C. Fox, Esq. was an environmental tobacco smoke legal consultant. In 1988 he went on media tours for Tobacco Institute discussing legal issues related to smoking in the workplace.
In 1993, as a partner in the San Franicsco-based law firm of Petit and Martin, he gave a statement before the Committee on Labor and Employment before the California state legislature on behalf of the Tobacco Institute. In the statement, Fox opposed AB 13, a proposal to ban workplace smoking.[1]
