John Coveney
John Coveney "is currently the Coordinator, Graduate Studies in Primary Health Care, Faculty of Health Sciences, Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide. His main areas of research are public health nutrition, food habits in families, and environment and food supply. Current research interests include the politics of food and health promotion, which involves both the examination of the social and cultural determinants of food choice, including efforts to change individual and community eating habits, and food regulation, legislation, new technology, and food policy. Before joining Flinders University, John worked in clinical and public health nutrition in the UK, Papua New Guinea, New South Wales and Western Australia. He holds a PhD from Murdoch University, Perth, as well as a Masters degree in Health Personnel Education and a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (UK)." [1]
