Biographical Information
John Crabtree joined the Board of Staffline Group "on 1 March 2005 as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. John became Non-Executive Chairman on 19th May 2011. John was the senior partner of Wragge & Co, the Birmingham based corporate law firm and whilst in this role John was responsible for the firm's evolution into a practice with 100 partners and a turnover of £75m. John has a number of business interests, including being Non-Executive Chairman of Real Estate Investors plc, SLR Holdings Limited and TruckEast Ltd. In addition he is a director of Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust and Advantage West Midlands."[1]

He is also a director of Advantage West Midlands - the regional development authority. John is a former President of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce & Industry, was High Sheriff of the West Midlands, and is currently Deputy Lieutenant. In 2004, he was voted UK lawyer of the year and awarded a lifetime achievement award from the Birmingham Law Society. In 2003, he was voted West Midlands Businessman of the year." [2]
