John E. Langlois
John Langlois, OBE, "was a Deputy in the Parliament on the Island of Guernsey, Channel Islands, and also a prominent member of the government for 24 years.. He is senior partner in the largest law firm in Guernsey and serves on the board of directors of a number of commercial and charitable companies. As well as being a leading lawyer in Guernsey he is a Chartered Arbitrator in the United Kingdom. He is Chairman of the Religious Liberty Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance, which has affiliates in 115 nations and over 150 million constituents. He is a member of and for five years until 2001 he served as Chairman of the Board of Advocates International, an association of lawyers based near Washington DC which works on human rights and religious freedom issues in many countries around the world."
