Biographical Information
"Mr. John F. Morgan, Sr. is a Owner of Morgan Timber LLC. Mr. Morgan served as Vice President of INVESCO Capital Management, which he founded together with eight others in 1979. Mr. Morgan joined the SunTrust (formerly First Orlando Corporation), and then returned to Atlanta in 1972 to work for Bank of America (formerly Citizens and Southern National Bank). Mr. Morgan began his career in banking in 1969 holding positions in general banking and public securities investment management at SunTrust in Orlando, Fla. and Bank of America in Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Morgan has been Chairman for Plum Creek Timber Co. Inc. since May 2009. He serves as Chairman of the Mill Creek Foundation. Mr. Morgan served as Chairman of Newsome Outdoor Advertising in South Carolina. At Emory, he chaired the Board of Visitors. He has been Director of Plum Creek Timber Co. Inc., since October 2006. Mr. Morgan serves as Director of Emory University. He serves on the Advisory Board of Forest Investment Associates Funds. He serves as a Trustee at Emory University and previously served as its Trustees as an alumni trustee since 1996, and also served as a term Trustee since 2000. Mr. Morgan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Oxford College, Emory University." [1]
