Mr. Weaver held a number of senior executive positions in operations and sales prior to being appointed President and CEO of Abitibi-Consolidated in 1999. He has over 30 years of experience in the forest products industry. Mr. Weaver is a member of the AbitibiBowater board, Chair of both the Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) and FPInnovations, and a director of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities."
