E.ON Climate and Renewables, a division of the global power company, spent $20,000 in the second quarter of 2008 on the services of Alston & Bird, a U.S. legal and lobbying firm. Alston and Bird was lobbying the U.S. government on climate change policy. Chase was the registered lobbyist working on the account.[1]
