Jonathan D. Green, was elected on January 28, 1997 to serve as a director of Annaly Capital Management, Incorporated.
"Mr. Green is president and Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller Group International, Inc., a privately held corporation with interests in real estate ownership, management, and development, real estate services and telecommunications. He joined The Rockefeller Group in 1980 as Assistant Vice President and Real Estate Counsel. In 1983 he was appointed Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel and in 1990 was elected Chief Corporate Officer. On July 6, 1995 he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller Group Development Corporation (RGDC) and Rockefeller Center Management Corporation (RCMC), both subsidiaries of The Rockefeller Group. In October 2002 Mr. Green was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller Group International, Inc. Mr. Green oversees the activities of the company's subsidiaries which include Rockefeller Group Development Corporation, Rockefeller Group Investment Management, Rockefeller Group Technology Solutions, Inc., Rockefeller Group Business Centers and CommonWealth Partners. Before joining The Rockefeller Group, Mr. Green was associated with the New York City law firm of Thacher, Proffitt & Wood. Mr. Green is a member of the Board of Directors of Rockefeller Group International, Inc. and the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, Inc. He also serves on the Mayor's Midtown Citizens Committee, the Board of Trustees of the Museum for African Art, The Leadership Council of Lafayette College, the Board of Trustees of the Wildlife Conservation Society, the Board of Governors for The Real Estate Board of New York and is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable. Mr. Green graduated from Lafayette College and the New York University School of Law." [1]
