Joseph H. Escher, III: Defense
Biography
Attorney in San Francisco, CA Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Robertson, Falk, & Rabkin. He was an attorney with Martin R. Glick and Pamela T. Johann for R.J. Reynolds in Mangini v. R.J. Reynolds. This was a suit by William Lerach as private attorneys general alleging R.J. Reynolds violated California's Business & Professions Code by targeting minors with its Joe Camel ad campaign. It went to the California Supreme Court circa 1994 on preemption issue (The Recorder 6/9/94).
