Josh Macalister

"Josh is Frontline’s Founder and Chief Executive. Josh is a former secondary school teacher and an alumni of Teach First. He taught in schools across Greater Manchester and was a Head of Department before leaving the profession in his fourth year to set up Frontline. Josh has been developing the idea for Frontline since 2010 when he first wrote an article outlining the case for a new route into children’s social work. Josh is also an Associate Fellow at the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), where he developed the case for Frontline."
