Judith Green

Judith Green "has spent the past nine years working to promote dialogue between Palestinians in the West Bank and Israelis. With degrees from Wellesley College, the University of Chicago, and Harvard University, Ms. Green, along with her husband, immigrated to Israel in 1973. Ms. Green was first part of a small group of Israelis and Palestinians who met in one another's homes to create dialogue and gain mutual understanding. Eventually, this concept of dialogue grew into the Rapprochement Dialogue Center, which Ms. Green helped to found. A member of the board at the Rapprochement Dialogue Center, Ms. Green has also founded the Nablus-West Jerusalem Dialogue for Peace and the Abu Tor Neighborhood Dialogue Group. Current projects include organizing a training program for childbirth educators in Nablus, a workshop in leadership for young Palestinian and Israeli women from Bethlehem and Jerusalem, and transformative dialogue retreats in Nablus."
