2008 election

For the 2008 election Kansas used the following voting machines in addition to hand-counted paper ballots in some counties. For a county-by-county list of the specific machines (and the source for this section) see Verified Voting's Verifier tool.

Voter registration procedures

• Oct. 31, 2008 -- Several hundred voters who submitted their registrations at drivers' license offices have arrived at the polls to find that their registrations had not been processed. The cause of the error is currently unknown. All those affected were offered provisional ballots.
