Kate McGuinness

Kate McGuinness completed her PhD with the Department of Peace Studies at Bradford University. Her project was a deconstruction of the relationship between power and difference. She contributed a chapter titled "A Feminist Critique of Gene Sharp's Theory of Power" to Michael Randle's edited collection Challenge to Nonviolence which came about as a result of the work of the Nonviolent Action Research Project which ran from 1994 to 1999.
