Kathleen A. Bryan

Kathleen A. Bryan "was named President and CEO for CPR Institute in August 2006 and assumed the post in October 2006. Ms. Bryan has devoted her career to finding the most effective and imaginative resolutions for resolving business disputes. She developed “best-in-class” litigation management techniques and created a system of regional counsel firms across the country. She speaks frequently on various litigation topics, and has served as a subject matter expert for several publications, including U.S. Business Litigation. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Constitutional Rights Foundation and the Illinois Civil Justice League.

"Kathy had been the head of worldwide litigation for Motorola and a corporate vice president of Motorola’s Law Department with a career than spanned 16 years with the company. From 1997 until 2002, Kathy led the litigation function and oversaw the legal affairs for Motorola’s semiconductor and automotive businesses and had responsibility for the two-way radio business from 2002 to 2005. Kathy also has been responsible for environmental, health, and safety and product-safety areas.

"Kathy joined Motorola in 1989, as the commercial lawyer for the government business. In 1991, Kathy was assigned to address environmental class-action lawsuits in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1996 she was appointed vice president and promoted to lead all litigation matters for Motorola one year later. Kathy was elected corporate vice president in 1999, and was a member of Motorola’s Law Department Management Board.

"Prior to joining Motorola, Kathy was in private practice at several major law firms in Boston, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., where she concentrated in commercial litigation and government contracts. Kathy earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, and a law degree from Northeastern University School of Law."
