Katia Papagianni
Katia Papagianni is the Policy Project Manager for the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.
"Prior to joining the HD Centre in March 2006, she worked for the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (2005-6) and the UNDP (2003-5). Her work has focused on governance and human rights, post-conflict transitional politics and institutions, and constitution-making processes. Her field experience includes work for the National Democratic Institute in Russia (1996-7), the OSCE in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1997-8) and the UN in Iraq (Summer 2004). She holds a doctorate in political science from Columbia University, a Masters in Public Administration from Princeton University, and a Bachelor from Brown University. She has taught on peace- and state-building at Columbia University and the Geneva Graduate Institute for International Studies."[1]
