Production
In 2011 the Kellingley Colliery produced 2.3 million tonnes of coal.[1] On it's website, as of October 2012, the company states that the mining of the 'Beeston' coal seam "will last until at least 2015 after which further reserves will be accessible in the 'Silkstone' coal seam".[2]
