Kenneth D. Brody
Kenneth D. Brody "is a co-founder of Taconic Capital Advisors L.P., a multi-strategy event driven hedge fund, founded in 1999. Taconic currently manages approximately $9.0 billion and has offices in New York and London. Mr. Brody served as President and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States from 1993 to early 1996. He spent 20 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1971 to 1991, where he was a general partner and member of the management committee.
"Mr. Brody currently serves as chair of the investment committee for the University System of Maryland Foundation and is a member of the investment advisory board for the Lockheed Martin Pension Plan. He formerly served on the Boards of Directors of Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, Alex Brown Incorporated, Federal Realty Investment Trust, and Telerate Incorporated. Mr. Brody is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
"Mr. Brody received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with high honors from0 the University of Maryland in 1964 and an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School in 1971, where he was a Baker Scholar. He served as an officer in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain." [1]
