Kevin Kopczynski
"Early in his career, Kevin was a Consultant in the Technology and Innovation practice at Arthur D. Little, where he assisted clients on new product development initiatives in consumer products, energy, and healthcare. Prior to joining RockPort, Kevin held a variety of operating and senior technical positions in a medical device startup that grew from four to forty employees. During that time, he also obtained $1.2 million in SBIR funding for the company. In addition to his technology and start-up experiences, Kevin worked for Lazard in mergers, acquisitions and strategic advisory. He currently serves on the Board of Ascension Industries, a closely held manufacturing company serving the industrial and energy markets. Kevin earned his BSE in mechanical engineering from Princeton University, an MS in engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from UC Berkeley, where he was a Venture Fellow and recipient of the Appel Award for leadership in entrepreneurship."
