Keyouzhongqi power station (内蒙古源源能源集团京科发电厂) is a 330-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Background on Plant

Keyouzhongqi power station is a single-unit coal-fired power plant with a capacity of 330 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The plant was completed in 2009 and put into operation in 2010. It is majority-owned by Inner Mongolia Yuanyuan Energy Co.

Proposed expansion

Inner Mongolia Yuanyuan Energy Co. has proposed adding two units of 660 MW each to the power station.

In June 2017 the company was permitted to build one 350 MW supercritical unit, suggesting unit 3 has been cancelled.

Construction on unit 2 began in May 2019.
