The Klipfontein Colliery is a coal mine located in the Victor Khanye Local Municipality in the Nkangala District in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. It is about 14 km southwest of Balmoral. It has been operating since at least 1947.[1]

Background
In 2017, Beryl Group indicated that Iyanga Mining[3] owned Klipfontein Colliery.
By August of 2018, Mbuyelo Group was involved in Klipfontein Colliery projects.[4] On its website, Mbuyelo Group said it owned the rights to Klipfontein Colliery but had not yet executed those rights.[5]
