Kroger
Kroger is a large U.S. grocery chain, second only to Wal-Mart in terms of grocery sales. It has about 3,650 stores in 31 states. It also has about 780 convenience stores such as Quik Stop and Kwik Shop. Fred Meyer Stores is a subsidiary operating in the western U.S. which sells groceries, general merchandise, and jewelry. [1]
Following are a few of Kroger's nearly two dozen brands under which it operates its stores. Supermarkets include Kroger, Ralph's, KING Soopers, City Market, Dillons, and Smith's. Multi-Department Stores include Fred Meyer and Fry's Marketplace. Convenience Stores include TurkeyHill and TomThumb. Jewelry stores include Fred Meyer Jewelers and Barclay Jewelers. [2]
