Background

The power station is proposed by Karnataka Power Corporation. Platts lists the proposal as separate from KPC's Bellary Thermal Power Station in the same region.[1] However, no such project listed on the website of Karnataka Thermal Power Corporation. It appears that Platts may have confused this project with the Bellary station.[2]
