Kuide Chen is a member of the Editorial Board of Beijing Spring and of the Independent Chinese PEN Center.
In 1992 Professor Chen Kuide (a graduate in philosophy from Fudan University - where he also taught until 1988) was working for the Princeton China Initiative and the Center for Modern China. [1]
Hua Yifu is Chen Kuide's pseudonym.
