Legal Aid Institute (LBH) "was created in Indonesia in 1970 as a pro-bono legal aid institution, and evolved over time into an advocacy organization committed to democratic governance and human rights. Its programs promote the consolidation of rule of law, social justice and institutional reforms aimed at bringing Indonesian institutions in line with international human rights principles." [1]
YLBHI (Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation) is the Foundation of the Indonesian Legal Aid Institute. [2]
Listed as a partner organization of the International Center for Transitional Justice.
