Dr. Leila Patel "is the Chairperson of the Department of Social Work at Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa. She is the author of Civic Service, Globalization and Social Development: Perspectives from Sub-Saharan Africa, commissioned by the Global Service Institute and published in NSVQ. Professor Patel is a member of the Board of VOSESA." [1]
