Leonard Homeniuk

"Mr Homeniuk has been an independent member of the board since 2011, formerly serving as an independent member on JSC Polymetal’s Board of Directors since June 2010. From 2004 to 2008 he served as President, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Centerra Gold. In 2011 he founded Polygon Gold Inc. and subsequently assumed the role of the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr Homeniuk is also a director of Trade Ideas LLC. He has over 35 years’ experience in the mineral sector, having held executive positions with Centerra Gold, Kumtor Gold and Cameco Corporation. Mr Homeniuk received an MSc from the University of Manitoba and is a member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. He is an Honorary Professor of the Kyrgyz Mining Institute."
