Lesley Bulman "is the Lesley Bulman is the Chief Executive of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, an organisation with 145 Member Organisations across the globe with 10 million girl and young women as members. She was appointed to the post in 1997.
"Before joining WAGGGS, Lesley Bulman held several senior posts advising on national policy within the United Kingdom. She was a policy advisor to the Labour Party, writing policy papers on the University for Industry and on computer education in schools. She wrote speeches for Tony Blair and worked closely with others who are now Cabinet Ministers." [1]
Currently a director of CIVICUS.
