List of Social Democrats

Social democrats are individuals who are influenced by socialism but believe that their political goals can be accomplished within a liberal republic. The more moderate social democrats want to establish a welfare state on top of a fundamentally capitalist system. A more radical movement, sometimes called democratic socialists seek to effect a fundamental change in our society by gradual reforms within the liberal republican system.
