List of international political organisations

There are three main international organisations for political parties. These are grouping of likeminded political parties which allow them to network and share ideas. The three are:

• Socialist International (also known as the Second International. This is a network of Social Democrat political parties.

• Liberal International. This is a network of economic liberal and social liberal political parties.

• International Democrat Union. This is a network of conservative and Christian Democrat political parties.
