Liulin Liansheng power station

Phase I

Liulin power station originally consisted of four units totaling 1400 MW. The first two units of 100 MW each were put into operation in 1995 and 1996, respectively, at a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan. The units were funded through loans from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

In 2008 two more units of 600 MW each began operation.

Phase II

A phase II of an additional 2 x 300 MW unit at the power station has been proposed (Phase II, Units 1-2). Unit 1 began commercial operation in 2012, and unit 2 in December 2014.
